The 2025 NFL draft is here and the picks will be rolling in soon.

The rumors and draft day buzz don't wait for the clock to start, though.

We've had some pre-draft rumors, buzz, and news surrounding the New York Jets already start surfacing with the event still hours away.

Here's a quick roundup of pre-draft Jets buzz:

Breece Hall on the out?

Head coach Aaron Glenn previously teased he was in favor of having a running back-by-committee approach out of the backfield on the Jets offense moving forward. Many were curious what that meant for the future of Breece Hall, who was the No. 1 rusher last season.

He could be a name to watch via trade. NFL insider Josina Anderson has reported on draft day that Hall might be available:

Notebook: League source tells me they’ve heard about the potential* availability of #Jets RB Breece Hall “within the last week and a half.”

Another O-line to watch in Round 1?

ESPN lays out a few notes relating to the No. 7 overall pick, New York's top selection at the draft.

Tight end Tyler Warren from Penn State is a fan favorite for the Jets and it's reported that the team does like him. However, right tackle Armand Membou from Missouri is another popular pick.

The big note: ESPN's report thinks that the Jets might like Texas tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. more. Selecting Bates over Membou would be one of the early surprises of the draft if it were to happen:

Draft-day buzz, starting with a mini-mock:
1. Ten - QB Cam Ward
2. Cle - WR/CB Travis Hunter
3. NYG - ED Abdul Carter
4. NE - OT Will Campbell
5. JAX - RB Ashton Jeanty
6. LVR - DT Mason Graham
7. NYJ - OT Kelvin Banks, Jr.

Teams might reach?

It's not Jets specific, but NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah noted one specific item: NFL teams might not care about "reaching" for prospects this year. That could mean multiple surprise picks are to come:

This draft is all about fit. That’s what every team keeps telling me. Rankings on these players are all over the map. Teams don’t seem concerned. They like their pods of players and don’t really care if there’s perception of a reach.

Teams ready to move back?

Another not-Jets specific note but it could involve them. According to the New York Daily News, there are six teams within the top nine picks that would be open to moving back and the Chicago Bears might want to move up at No. 10.

If we're playing the numbers game, it's more likely than not that the Jets are one of the teams that would move back.

Jets rumors are down

The Jets cleaned house in a big way this offseason. A reason for that is wanting to get rid of "leaks" in their front office.

Has that... worked? A report from SNY suggested it might have:

A new favorite for the Jets in sportsbooks

Previously sportsbooks had Membou as the favorite but that has changed. Evidently via Fan Duel it is now Warren:

Tyler Warren is currently the slight betting favorite for the 7th overall pick… Membou right there with him.

Vegas doesn’t seem to love Banks at 7. https://t.co/zpI9ciyONZpic.twitter.com/JHLHznXJvn
