What will the New York Jets do with their top selection at the 2025 NFL draft?
No one knows, not even head coach Aaron Glenn or general manager Darren Mougey. Those two can't control what happens before the Jets have a chance to make a pick and that can change everything.
Even so, many make mock draft projections and more throughout the buildup to the event which begins at 8 p.m. on Thursday. Even the sportsbooks.
As is always the case with some of the top selections, like the one New York holds at No. 7 overall, NFL fans can bet on when players are selected.
Whether it's the Jets or someone else, DraftKings has a favorite for the player who will be taken off the board at No. 7. It's Missouri offensive lineman Armand Membou.
Clearly the guess relates to the Jets. New York needs a right tackle as Tyron Smith has retired. Meanwhile, Morgan Moses departed for the New England Patriots. Specifically the Jets could use a right tackle like Membou.
Membou's draft stock jumped following his efforts last season. Pro Football Focus' grade on him was a 90.6 in 12 games played in 2024, up from a 67.1 the year prior.
Stay tuned (and maybe bet) for the 2025 NFL draft which will soon arrive.
