The Las Vegas Raiders continue to request interviews for the coaching opening left by the firing of Pete Carroll. They have have requested interviews with Vance Joseph, Klint Kubiak, Davis Webb, Matt Nagy, Kevin Stefanski and now Jeff Hafley.
Let’s get to know Hafley some more:

He has been the defensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers since 2024.
Age:
He is 46.
Coaching experience:
He has nine seasons of NFL coaching experience. He was the head coach at Boston College from 2020-23. He went 22-26 there.
Other interest:
ESPN reported the Miami Dolphins also asked permission to talk to Hafley on Sunday. He previously had interest from the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals. So, that’s five of the eight teams with an opening want to talk to Hafley.
Why the Raiders are interested:
Haley is well regarded and has head-coaching experience, even though its at the college level. Along with Joseph, Hafley is the second of six current Raiders’ candidates who is a defensive specialist. Like Webb and Kubiak, he has never been an NFL head coach.
