The Los Angeles Lakers will play one final regular-season game on Sunday at the Portland Trail Blazers before they get roughly one week off prior to the start of their first-round playoff series.

They clinched third place in the Western Conference and reached 50 wins by downing the Houston Rockets 140-109 on Friday. They will be resting many, if not most, of their starters and regulars for this game, and Portland will likely do the same thing, as it has a 35-46 record and will not be participating in the play-in tournament.

About a week from now, Los Angeles will be hosting its first playoff series since 2012. It has been a long wait, but the team now seems to have a legitimate chance of winning its first NBA championship during a full season since 2010.

Check back here for the latest updates and highlights from Sunday's game.
