The Los Angeles Lakers' 139-96 loss on Thursday to the Oklahoma City Thunder was about as disastrous as it could've been. They lost Luka Doncic to a Grade 2 hamstring strain in the third quarter, and in that same game, Austin Reaves sustained an oblique strain. Both stars are expected to be out for at least the next three or four weeks.

Los Angeles will face the Thunder once again on Tuesday, this time at Crypto.com Arena. In addition to Doncic and Reaves, veteran guard Marcus Smart will continue to be out of action. Even worse, LeBron James is listed as questionable due to a left foot injury.

James did his job pretty well on Sunday in the Lakers' first game after the injuries Doncic and Reaves suffered. Against the Dallas Mavericks, he had 30 points, nine rebounds and 15 assists, but the team's defense was soft, and it lost to Dallas 134-128.

Los Angeles will have three games left after Tuesday, beginning with its Thursday night contest versus the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.
