I have loved what I had seen of Kyler since his rookie year but was not about to say he was the solution till some more games. There is no sophomore jinx with him and finally the Cards have drafted on their own a franchise QB in the modern era. I do not know if he will be a Hall of Fame type guy, but I do know we have the most important position secure :)

I haven't been on this board for long or even following this team anywhere close to most but had a smile during K1's td run about some of the old timers who might have finally seen team draft a true franchise qb.

Not if he takes a few more of those hits he took yesterday.

Please, they were not hard hits but typical pro hits and the guy is compact enough to take those. Do not think his height and the position he plays makes him more acceptable when actually he looks more built to take a hit than Edmonds

The one hit on 3rd down he knocked the corner back and delivered the boom. He did take more hits yesterday than he has for the most part of his career, but he got back up every time. Competitor mentality and that’s something I want to see from my franchise QB

Loyalty did not like him being drafted so he's falling back on whatever he can now lol

Yep. I'm not a fan of designed rollout plays for instance, especially like the one we ran to Kirk. He was shredding Miami all night from the pocket so just let him keep shredding.

I'm just going to keep saying this until Kliff pays attention or Kyler proves me wrong. Kyler Murray is MUCH better running to his left than his right for throws.

And K9 in the other thread said something I said early in the year and one of the announcers, forget which said, he reminds me of a smaller Steve Young.

And people who know me know I LOVED Steve Young. Steve Young in his best years was as good as anybody who ever played QB, just wasn't for very long. Brady obviously the GOAT, but at peak Young was as good as anybody IMO.

I knew that play was coming too.

He still needed to hit the pass. That said, this kid has the goods. ALL of them.

LET HIM USE THEM, KLIFF!!
