How to Land Affordable Tickets
Attending the Olympic Games is a bucket-list item for many people around the world. Therefore, tickets are in high demand. But fortunately for fans, there will be one million tickets starting at $28 for all sports and more than 75% of tickets are expected to cost less than $400 each.
Ticket prices increase based on seat location, sport and session. According to the Los Angeles Times, the opening ceremony on July 14, finals of women’s gymnastics, track and field and swimming are expected to have the most expensive tickets.
If you are looking to land some tickets with a good view on the cheaper end, consider purchasing tickets in the earlier rounds of the Olympic Games or for newer sports.
