Kyle Schwarber wowed the hometown crowd at Citizens Bank Park on Monday night, getting to the finals in the Home Run Derby.

The Phillies all-star hit 11 in the final against the Cardinals’ Jordan Walker, who hit 12 to take the night’s crown as home run king.

In the semi final, Schwarber hit seven home runs in a row at one point and ended up with nine of his 15 swings to advance.

Bryce Harper – 8 home runs

It was the moment fans were waiting for with Bryce Harper concluding the first round at his home ballpark, but he only managed eight home runs and was eliminated. Harper won the Home Run Derby in 2018 at Nationals Park when he played for Washington.

Kyle Schwarber – 10 home runs

Schwarber entered the night leading the MLB in home runs at the All-Star break, but failed to homer on his first five swings in the first round. He found a groove and ended up with 10, hitting some absolute bombs at the ballpark he calls home
