Kyle Busch's wife, Samantha Busch, has made her first post since the NASCAR legend died last month.

On Friday, June 5, Samantha posted a family photo on Instagram with Kyle, son Brexton, 11, and daughter Lennix, 4. She began her message by thanking those who have supported her family during this difficult time.

"As a family, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you," she began. "The prayers, messages, flowers, meals, hugs, and countless acts of kindness have carried us through the most heartbreaking days of our lives. While our hearts are absolutely shattered, we have felt God’s presence and arms wrapped tightly around us through each and every one of you."

She then added that she has greatly appreciated the love shown to Kyle following his passing last month and the impact he made through family, friends, and fans.

"The love that has surrounded our family during this unimaginable time has brought comfort in the middle of so much pain," Samantha continued. "Knowing the impact Kyle had on others and seeing how they are honoring him through each unique act of generosity is a true testament to how special Kyle is to so many people. There are moments when the weight of this loss feels impossible to carry, yet time and time again God, through you all, has shown us we are not alone. From family and friends to fans and complete strangers, thank you for showing up for us. Thank you for loving our family so well."

She concluded her message by thanking everyone once again for "loving Kyle" and keeping his memory alive.

"We may never find the words to fully express what your support has meant to us, but please know that we are deeply grateful," she wrote.

Samantha signed the message with a heart emoji and her name alongside the couple's two children.

Kyle died on May 21 from complications from bacterial pneumonia that progressed into sepsis.

During his career, Kyle won two Cup Series titles (2015, 2019) and 63 races. He also had a record-setting 102 wins with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and 69 wins in the Craftsman Truck Series.

NASCAR released a statement following his death: “Our entire NASCAR family is heartbroken by the loss of Kyle Busch. A future Hall of Famer, Kyle was a rare talent, one who comes along once in a generation. He was fierce, he was passionate, he was immensely skilled and he cared deeply about the sport and fans. Throughout a career that spanned more than two decades, Kyle set records in national series wins, won championships at NASCAR’s highest level and fostered the next generation of drivers as an owner in the Truck Series. His sharp wit and competitive spirit sparked a deep emotional connection with race fans of every age, creating the proud and loyal ‘Rowdy Nation.’ Our thoughts are with Samantha, Brexton and Lennix, Kyle and Samantha’s parents, Kurt and all of Kyle’s family, Richard and Judy Childress, everyone at Richard Childress Racing, his teammates, friends and fans. NASCAR lost a giant of the sport today, far too soon."
