That headline isn't a typo.
New York Knicks legend Jeremy Lin brought back Linsanity on Friday night in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game -- he hit an 8-point shot.
We'll explain.
First off, the Celebrity Game had a 4-point line. It was sponsored by Ruffles and was a big squiggly line around the perimeter, a few feet deeper than the regular 3-point line.
And in the fourth quarter, there was a "Double Time" button that the coaches could talk. It activated double scoring for each bucket that went through.
"It was definitely my call (to press the button)," said Giannis Antetokounmpo to ESPN after the game. He was coaching the team with former NBA players Lin and Tacko Fall.

Team Giannis first got a 2-point free throw out of Rome Flynn, but the next possession, Lin had a better idea.
He saw the line, stepped back behind the Ruffles squiggly line, and drained it. Four times two is eight.
The game was a two-point lead for Team Giannis before that.
After that? A 10-point lead.

It's a moment never before seen in basketball. Probably never seen ever again, either.
Linsanity indeed.
