Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is going to be named the next Las Vegas Raiders head coach, according to multiple reports. Kubiak will coordinate the Seahawks' offense against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. After that, he'll officially take charge of the Raiders.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald should be prepared for Kubiak to attempt to take several coaches with him to Vegas. Various coaches on the current Seahawks staff have direct and even previous ties to Kubiak. We've identified a handful.

Karl Scott

Seahawks defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator Karl Scott received some defensive coordinator interest around the league this offseason. It wouldn't be shocking if Kubiak had interest in making him his DC in Vegas. Scott has been in Seattle since the Pete Carroll years (2022), but also previously coached with Kubiak with the Minnesota Vikings (2021).

John Benton

Offensive line coach John Benton is another assistant Kubiak brought with him to Seattle from New Orleans. Macdonald shouldn't be interested in losing him, given the Seahawks' improved trench play this season. If Kubiak wants to poach Benton, the Seahawks should only allow it through a promotion to Raiders offensive coordinator. A lateral move shouldn't be allowed.

Andrew Janocko

Current Seahawks quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko is a true Kubiak disciple. He's worked with Kubiak on three different occasions, with the Vikings for three seasons (2019-21), New Orleans Saints (2024) and Seahawks (2025). Coach Macdonald essentially gave Kubiak autonomy to bring Janocko to Seattle this past season.

Rick Dennison

The 67-year-old Rick Dennison is the Seahawks' run game coordinator and senior offensive advisor. The veteran coach has worked alongside Kubiak at four different stops, including with the Denver Broncos, Vikings, and Saints. He's one of Kubiak's top mentors.

Justin Outten

Current coaching mate and Seahawks run game specialist/assistant offensive line coach Justin Outten could emerge as an offensive coordinator candidate for Kubiak. Outten coordinated the Broncos offense in 2022 when Kubiak was the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
