Sportsnet hockey viewers during the Montreal Canadiens' Eastern Conference Finals appearance have noticed something is off.

Kevin Bieksa and Kelly Hrudey have been missing from the broadcasts.

It's something that has a lot of social media showing their concern for the missing analysts:

What happened to Kevin Bieksa and Kelly Hrudey on Sportsnet? The intermissions just aren't the same. Is everything okay with them? #gohabsgo

It's not immediately clear what the scoop is.

There are a lot of possible explanations, so it doesn't do anyone any good to speculate on this.

The reality is that fans get comfortable with certain announcers, whether in the studio or on game coverage. When those announcers aren't there, it can feel a little weird.

Hey @Sportsnet — viewers are definitely noticing Kevin Bieksa missing from the playoff panel. Hope everything’s okay. The broadcasts haven’t been the same without him.

The other tricky thing about this is some fans are always going to feel worse about certain announcers than others. It's not fair that the missing commentators are getting hate from some viewers in the replies to the above posts.

The reality is that when on the air, they're doing what they can to provide information and potentially entertainment to hockey fans.

Bieksa and Hrudey are notable enough that Sportsnet viewers have noticed their absence, and some are certainly awaiting their potential returns.
