Good morning, BBN!

We got great news this weekend as Malachi Moreno withdrew from the NBA Draft to return to Lexington for his sophomore campaign. Now, all eyes of the BBN turn to another MM in Milan Momcilovic.

While still entered into the NBA Draft, all signs seem to point towards a return to college basketball next season. If he returns, he would presumably become one of the highest-paid players in the sport next season. Now, who are the bidders?

This is seemingly coming down to a Kentucky vs. Louisville vs. St John’s triple threat battle, as the powerhouse programs look to land a knockout punch and land the elite shooter.

It is no secret that of the three programs, the Cats can offer a star role in a 3-point-heavy offense. Not to mention, they may have the most open payroll right now, though that could obviously change once Momcilovic withdraws and other potential schools enter the mix.

Will Mark Pope and his staff wrap up the offseason with a major recruiting win? Let’s hope so.
