If you’re the kind of person who hates rolling the dice on ticket availability, don’t let your chance to snag a seat at the Kentucky Derby come down to the wire.
The 153rd Run for the Roses will take place at historic Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday, May 1, 2027 and now's your chance to grab a ticket. While a pre-sale lottery opened in May for some select areas, Churchill Downs has opened up a new round of ticket sales for select areas of the track.
On June 4 at noon, the track will release a batch of 2027 Kentucky Derby tickets available in two-day seating areas including Infield General Admission, Ford First Turn Reserved, Starting Gate Courtyard and the Homestretch Club. Not every section at the venue is currently up for grabs, but for fans eager to lock in their spot early, this is your moment to move.
And you won't be alone. In 2026, 150,415 fans packed the track for the chance to be part of “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.”
