The 2025 Kentucky volleyball season was one of the best in team history, and fell just short of winning a national championship. Heading into the 2026, they will be, once again, among the favored teams to take home the title as they bring back a lot of talent and added some key players as well.
The success of the Wildcats is paying off in terms of national attention as well. Kentucky announced on Wednesday that 11 of their games this season would be broadcast on national television, with six of them to be shown on ESPN or ESPN2, and one apiece on Fox and ABC. The others will be on the SEC Network. It's the most nationally televised games in school history.
Kentucky will have several big non-conference games shown on national TV. The Wisconsin Badgers, Penn State, Louisville, and the UCLA Bruins are all on that list, while the Texas Longhorns, Tennessee Volunteers, and defending national champion Texas A&M are among conference teams to be shown nationally.
It is set to be a fun season for the Wildcats volleyball team. There are championship aspirations, and they should be among the top teams, giving Big Blue Nation a reason to be excited, and now they'll be able to more closely follow the team on television more often.
