Nikola Jokic is in the thick of his prime. He's led the Denver Nuggets to a title and has captured three of the past four MVP trophies.
The Serbian superstar is in the running for a fourth MVP trophy, too, as he and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are the favorites to win the award.
As the two superstars battle things out in the second round of the playoffs -- with the Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder set to play Game 7 on Sunday -- fans are eagerly waiting the NBA's MVP announcement.
With the New York Knicks closing out the Boston Celtics -- finalizing a matchup against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals -- all eyes will be on the Nuggets and Thunder.
The two sides are competing in the final game of the second round on either side of the bracket, and the two MVP frontrunners are squaring off.

Former Thunder and NBA champion Kendrick Perkins took to halftime of the Knicks and Celtics Game 6 matchup to fire off a laughable Jokic statement.
“Jokic wouldn’t have wanted this smoke. Kobe [Bryant] said I was the best post defender on the league," Perkins claimed.
Simply put, fans did not agree with this sentiment. Perkins seemed to be satire, though, as he was likely joking with his crew.
"Jokic would up 70 & 30 on Perk," one fan said.
"They toss Jokic out of the league for the atrocities he would commit on Kendrick Perkins man," one fan claimed.
"Jokic would of made Perk retire lmaooo. He’d average like 50/20/10 on him," another fan said.
"I watched Pau Gasol cook you every time the lakers played us… sit this one out perk," one fan reacted.
"It would take Perk 5 business days just to get down the court & have a shot at guarding anyone in today’s NBA," another fan wrote. "He’s a better analyst than basketball player so that tells you a lot"
Perkins later clarified he was, indeed, joking.
"Jesus Christ. I was joking around with Bob and Malika people," Perkins clarified on X.
