The Golden State Warriors are in a tight-knit fight against the Houston Rockets in Game 3 of their first-round series.

After battling twice in Houston -- splitting the two games 1-1 -- the two sides are in the Bay Area for two games in Chase Center.

Through halftime of the Warriors' first game on their floor of the series, they are down 49-46 to the Rockets.

At the break, one thing is clear: Stephen Curry is missing Jimmy Butler.

The club is dealing with an injury to the star forward after a nasty fall in Game 2, after he played just eight minutes in the contest. His absence was a big reason for the 15-point loss, too.

With Butler sidelined for Game 3, Jonathan Kuminga got the call as a starter -- along with Quentin Post joining the lineup -- which hasn't panned out incredibly well.

In nine minutes, Kuminga is minus-three in the box score, with three points on 1-of-3 shooting.

Evidently, he hasn't been brilliant. He's looked far checked out.

Kendrick Perkins calls on Warriors to make lineup change

Kuminga was pulled from the lineup originally for a reason. He hasn't been great since Butler was acquired, though the top pick was also coming off an injury.

Golden State head coach Steve Kerr opted to start Kuminga in the second half, still, regardless of Perkins' loud warning.

Perkins also called on Draymond Green to "do something, please."

It's clear the Warriors will need to give Curry a bit more, as the superstar guard has 15 points through 20 minutes on the hardwood, albeit on 5-of-11 shooting.
