There's no question the New York Knicks would not be two wins away from their first NBA championship in over half a century if it wasn't for the play of Karl-Anthony Towns.

Towns, a former St. Joseph-Metuchen High School star in New Jersey, has had the clear upper hand over Spurs star and Defensive Player of the Year in Victor Webanyama.

The six-time All-Star big man has averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds through the first two games of the 2026 NBA Finals and more importantly is shooting 56 percent from the field and 43 percent from behind the three-point line.
