The trick to winning this was simply getting all your guys to go straight, which proved to be complex haha... I would beat all the kids in my neighborhood with my Saints team (yeah, I had them all but) because they were the only ones I could get to all go straight and I did not want to risk that moving them bases to the Cardinals lol
The real early version of the game was awful---it had little tiny plastic prongs on the bottom of the players and no matter what you did you could never get the player to run in the right direction. We used to turn the vibrate to high and let it run until there was one man standing---that's where the ball was. Forget about passing the little cotton spit ball. You had to hit the receiver after clicking it out of the hand of the QB---talk about booth review. LOL.
