K'Andre Miller Would ‘For Sure’ Be Interested in Playing At 2025 IIHF World Championship

The 2025 IIHF World Championship is set to take place next month, and one New York Rangers defenseman could compete in it.

K’Andre Miller was asked if he’s been approached by USA Hockey to play in the World Championship and he said “not directly.”

However, Miller emphasized that he would “for sure” be interested in playing for Team USA and representing his country on the world stage.

With the NHL playoffs still going on at the time of the World Championship, it leaves opportunities for an abundance of players to compete on a global stage that normally wouldn’t be able to.

Miller is still growing and developing as a defenseman and playing for Team USA could be an interesting opportunity for him to get ready for the 2025-26 season.

The 24-year-old recorded seven goals, 19 assists, and 26 points in 73 games this season while averaging 21:56 minutes.
