The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Monday in favor of participants in employee retirement plans who object to companies' investment decisions that eat into retirement savings.

The justices revived claims by current and former employees of energy company Edison International. The employees argued that the company chose mutual funds with excessive fees.

Eh it was silly this even reached the Supreme Court. Virtually every practitioner in the industry could have called this one. Didn't tveb need to be an ERISA attorney to know they were going to make the ruling they did. Of course now mainstream press is running around aaying the supremes took a shot at Wall Street which could to be further from the truth.
