I don't think that's what I said. Here are the facts:

1) Jurecki is working for arizonasports.com and 98.7 FM, which are partners with the Arizona Cardinals.
2) Words mean different things depending on the context.

You can target someone and not succeed. It doesn't mean that you didn't target them.

Okay.I think you are saying Cards went after said players but only up to a certain point (monetarily?).I would think Cards have a plan with cost figures and will try and stick to said plan and not overspend in the early frenzy and try and be smart buyers.

He didn’t say they would land them so he’s not incorrect. Unless they report signing is imminent then you can bash them for being wrong. No beat guy knows anything in advance. They get their info minutes before we do.
