Julius Randle had some big praise for teammate Anthony Edwards as the Minnesota Timberwolves returned to the Western Conference Finals.

Randle scored a game-high 29 points as the Timberwolves eliminated the Golden State Warriors with a 121-110 win in Wednesday's Game 5. Edwards played the role of facilitator, dishing out a career playoff-record 12 assists while also setting another personal record.

After the game, Randle said Edwards is playing with a poise well beyond his years.

"Look, he's the brightest star in the room," Randle said. "Anywhere he goes, all eyes on him, it's no different on the court. I just try to make the game easy for him, I try to push him, challenge him, tell him he should have three more rebounds. What he does for our team every night is special, and he's only 23, so what he's doing is crazy, crazy."

Edwards had 22 points in the win, putting him over the 1,000-point mark for career playoff points.

The win sent the Timberwolves back to the Western Conference Finals for the second straight season, giving them the chance to avenge last year's loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Anthony Edwards is just the SIXTH player in NBA history to score 1K playoff points before the age of 24, joining:

The second round saw them facing a scrappy Warriors team that had just taken down the No. 2 seed Houston Rockets, though the Warriors lost star Steph Curry to a hamstring injury.
