The Green Bay Packers are already down a tight end.

And now another is injured.

Backup tight end Josh Whyle left Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos on the Packers' first drive with a concussion.

He needed to be helped off the field before going to the locker room. Whyle has been ruled out for the game.

The Packers are playing the rest of the season without star tight end Tucker Kraft, who tore his ACL in a game Nov. 2.

Josh Whyle injury

Whyle suffered the injury on a third and 1 play after taking a hit from Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga.

Whyle was elevated from the practice squad after Kraft went on injured reserve last month and has provided depth and blocking. For the season, Whyle has three receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown this season.

Packers tight ends depth chart

Luke Musgrave is at the top of the tight end depth chart following the Kraft injury. After him, it's John FitzPatrick.
