Johnny Kenny could seal Celtic exit after Kasper Høgh arrival
Bolton Wanderers are reportedly interested in bringing Johnny Kenny back to the Toughsheet Community Stadium this summer.
The striker’s future at Celtic appears increasingly uncertain following the arrival of Kasper Hogh in an £11 million deal from Bodo/Glimt, with the Scottish champions now open to listening to proposals for the 23-year-old.
According to Sky Sports, Bolton are among a number of clubs keeping tabs on Kenny as he works his way back from knee ligament damage that ruled him out of Celtic’s pre-season preparations.
Speaking recently, Martin O’Neill revealed the Republic of Ireland forward is aiming to be available again around the beginning of August.
Kenny impressed during a loan spell with Bolton in the latter half of last season, contributing six goals and three assists across 14 appearances before suffering the injury that prematurely ended his campaign.
