There wasn't a first-time winner last year at the John Deere Classic but this remains the PGA Tour event that has produced the most first-timers. Here in 2026, Jackson Suber, Ben Kohles, Zac Blair, Doug Ghim and amateur Preston Stout are all in the top 10 heading into Sunday's round with a shot at winning their maiden win.
There are 24 names on the first-timers list and there's quite a few prominent ones. Jordan Spieth was just 19 when he won the JDC in 2013. Bryson DeChambeau won the first of his nine PGA Tour wins at TPC Deere Run.
Brian Harman, David Toms and Payne Stewart also claimed their first wins in this event.
