Former Cincinnati Reds great Joey Votto gave the gift of a clock that now stands just outside an entrance of Great American Ball Park.

The Reds shared a photo of the clock with a video from Votto explaining the gift.

"I am excited about giving the clock to the city, the team and its fans," Votto said. "Being the oldest professional team, I wanted this clock to add to the charm and mystique of the Cincinnati Reds experience."

"To: Cincinnati From: @JoeyVotto," is the caption that accompanies the Reds' tweet.

Votto appeared on "The Jim Day Podcast" in February to discuss his new job as MLB analyst for NBC and Peacock for the 2026 season.

"To the credit of NBC, they were persistent," Votto said on the podcast. "And they let me know that they had quite a bit of interest. And it had been months or longer. Maybe about half a year that they showed real interest. And I was apprehensive. I think that after getting done doing something for so long - I would say I was pretty serious with baseball for about 25 years or so - that I didn't know what I wanted to do. I still think that there's moments that I'm trying to figure out the next steps. But I love the sport."
