If you were one of the many Cincinnati Bengals fans who couldn’t get enough of the Joe Flacco experience last year, you’ll get to relive it soon.
Flacco will be one of the four stars in the Netflix docuseries "Quarterback" airing July 14, the popular streaming service announced May 13. Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders, Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans join Flacco as the quarterbacks featured in Season 3.
The show is produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions and was created to give fans an inside look at the quarterbacks’ lives on and off the field. Joe Burrow was one of three quarterbacks on the show in 2025.
The cameras documented Flacco’s 18th NFL season behind the scenes, and it ended up being one of the more intriguing stories in the NFL due to how well the veteran quarterback played right away for the Bengals.
The Bengals traded for Flacco on Oct. 7, 2025, after quarterback Burrow suffered a toe injury that forced him to miss nine games. The Bengals gave the Cleveland Browns a fifth-round pick in exchange for Flacco while also receiving a sixth-round pick in this year's NFL draft.
Flacco started six games and appeared in nine for the Bengals last season. He completed 251 of 416 passes for 2,479 yards and 15 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He earned a trip to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.
Flacco said he hoped to sign with another team looking for a veteran quarterback to start the 2026 season, but the offseason didn’t play out how he hoped. Ultimately, Flacco re-signed with the Bengals for another season to be Burrow’s backup because of the positive experience he had in Cincinnati.
