The Los Angeles Lakers now have their backs against the wall, facing a deficit in the first round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Lakers and Timberwolves split the first two game of the series, but a trip to Minnesota gave Anthony Edwards and company a 2-1 series lead
As the Lakers look to bounce back, Los Angeles head coach JJ Redick spoke with the media, sharing his thoughts on LeBron James' injury status.
"He's moving better," Redick said. "He's getting healthier by the day. Typically it's a week, 2 week injury. It's been 2 weeks tonight since the Houston game."
James has been nursing a groin injury for the past month, having suffered the nagging injury during then Lakers' regular season.
According to Adam Wells at Bleacher Report, James suffered the groin injury on March 8 in a matchup against the Boston Celtics, which kept the NBA star sidelined for seven consecutive games.
Wells also explained that James re-aggravted the injury on April 11 against the Houston Rockets.
Despite the injury concerns, Redick made it clear that James is getting "healthier by the day."

James has played in all three first round playoff games for the Los Angeles Lakers. In a recent 116-104 loss to the Rockets, James posted 38 points, 10 rebounds and four assists per game.
After the game, Redick also gave clear insight on a recent illness report from Luka Doncic. He mentioned that Doncic had been "vommitting all day" and also stated that he "hasn't been feeling well for the last 24 hours."
