Jets salary cap: How much has the NFL cap increased the past decade?

In what has become an annual trend (aside from unforeseen pandemics), the NFL announced what the league's salary cap total will be ahead of the 2026 season... and yes, it's going up again for the New York Jets.

All 32 teams in football were informed the salary cap threshold will see a hefty rise this offseason, up to $301.2 million. That represents an additional $22 million in salary cap space for teams including the Jets and general manager Darren Mougey.

As referenced, the NFL has continued to increase cap space each year. In terms of the past decade, here is what the NFL's salary cap total was in each of those 10 years:
