The New York Jets enter the third day of the NFL Draft having added some key players to their roster on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
As Day 3 gets underway, the Jets should feel excited with how things will look on their draft board.
We have a complete tracker of where the Jets are going to go with the remaining five draft picks here:
Round 4 (Pick 110) - WR, Arian Smith, Georgia
The New York Jets needed a wide receiver and got one here with the 110th pick. Smith is considered one of the fastest receivers in this draft and could be a lightning rod for the offense moving forward. His 4.36 forty time is one of the fastest in college but will need to get stronger if he wants to make an immediate impact.
Round 4 (Pick 130) - S, Malachi Moore, Alabama
New York traded up with the Eagles to select Moore at this time. Moore is a ball-hawking safety at this point and comes from a quality SEC school in Alabama. He was a first-team All-SEC safety and can play each position in the secondary, including in the nickel and out back. Moore should be able to compete right away with Andre Cisco and Tony Adams for time on the field his rookie year.
Round 5 (pick 162) - Francisco Mauigoa, LB, Miami
Mauigoa is a project of an off-ball linebacker at this point, but comes to the team as a limited player with the smarts to grow into something more. What Mauigoa is missing from an athletic standpoint, he makes up for it in his quick reads. He'll need seasoning moving forward but should be a special teams contributor right away.
Round 6 (pick 186)
