Jessica Pegula is cruising through her early rounds at the 2026 Italian Open.

After defeating Turkish rising star Zeynep Sonmez 6-4, 6-0 in her Round of 64 match, she faced Swedish tennis player Rebeka Masarova.

She double bageled Masarova with a 6-0, 6-0 win in under an hour. It is the first double bagel win of her career.

Pegula won her second straight Charleston Open on the South Carolina green clay earlier this spring, cementing her status as a formidable clay court player.
