SHREVEPORT, LA (KTAL/KMSS) – Captain Shreve defeats Holy Cross in the Bi-district, District One (Select) playoff round.
The Gators entered the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Boys’ Basketball playoffs as the fourteen seed. Friday night they beat nineteenth-seeded Holy Cross to advance to the regional playoff round.
In the second half, Jeremiah Ford had three key baskets to help Captain Shreve pull away and secure victory.
The Gators will play again next week, this time on the road when they travel to three-seeded St. Augustine, who opened the playoffs on a bye.
