BULLARD, Texas (KETK) — In a non-district high school boys basketball battle between two of the top teams in 3A and 4A in East Texas, the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs came away with a hard-fought 63-51 win over the Bullard Panthers.
The game was tied at 17 at the end of the first quarter and knotted up at 26 at halftime.
The Bulldogs (18-3) eventually pulled away to take down the Panthers (16-7).
Bullard will look to bounce back when the Panthers host Center to start district play on Friday, January 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Jefferson will host Hughes Springs on Friday, January 16 at 7:45 p.m. to start its’ district slate.
