Ha!

Eddie totally nails that play. I was there and, in the arena, it looked insane, I was like... "wtf, did Allen just jump out of the gym and full extension block that guy?!?!" His flailing made it look extremely impressive, but, it was a great hustle play.

Fun game tonight. Given the holiday and the weekend, I might have been on the drunker side of the hill... but it is fun watching a team that like... obviously gives a ****. When the lead was being built up we had gives playing full court D, diving for loose balls. Like... you could tell that the loss in Utah pissed them off.

I still think we're gunna be lucky to win 30 games... but if they ever get Brooks and Green back and without Williams getting hurt... they could be pretty scrappy.

On a sadder note, they announced this as a sell out, but it was easily the lowest attended game I've been to since the remodel. It was mostly full, but there were some rather large chunks of empty seats here and there. I would guess like... 80% full.

Yeah maybe they will only win 30 games but after a few nights of watching them play like a 12 win team, 30 wins sounds pretty great. I'm not completely sold but with Colin and a healthy Williams, we don't look so outmatched all the time now. And when Devin shows out like last night, we look like we can win on our own merit against most teams rather than just stealing the odd game when the opponent fails to take us seriously.

they tried - book didn't wait for it to arrive - that and the ball movement was nice
That’s what I noticed. Immediate passes. Not the typical getting trapped and having to restart the offense at the time stripe norm.

This is still going to be a bad team. But I preached patience because new teams with new coaches and new systems and young players take a good early percentage of the season to show what they really are. And this is without green abs Brooks for the most part thus far. They show fight and some fundamentals are starting to show. There’s a lot of work to do, and I still think they finish outside of the play in. But they may challenge for the last okay in slot and that’s something to build on with the rooks, a young green, a young Dunn, and a young Williams.

it was cool - book would pass out of it - run away from it with the team giving him space - he'd drive right before it got there - it was kinda kd like tbh mixed with some old school book classic

agree on the heart too - we've come back from 20 and we just held a 20 point lead from the first quarter to the fourth - that's crazy and all without jalen - if the team buys in there's no telling - we're supposed to be developing but watching this team compete and exact vengeance is fun too

Potential assists? Devin Booker is averaging 6 assists to 4.6 turnovers this season.
I think the potential includes when he hits wide open guys and they miss the shots. He clearly could have almost double assists in some games.

Yeah it is but a week ago I thought we had just one position truly figured out. Now it looks like we might have 3 and if Dunn can show up regularly, that's 4 even without Brooks or Green.

I noticed in the fourth when point book brought it up, we would get a long contested three. When someone else brought it up, and book could catch and go, the shots we got were way better. It would be ott if the coaching staff would not see the same. I assume they watch game film and try to find ways to learn and get better.
