Kyle Hamilton has quickly become one of the faces of Baltimore's defense, and Jaylinn Hawkins clearly respects everything the All-Pro safety brings to the field. Hamilton's versatility allows the Ravens to use him almost anywhere on defense, creating matchup problems for opposing offenses every week. Hawkins now gets the opportunity to line up beside him.

Could the chemistry between Hamilton, Hawkins, and Malaki Starks become one of the biggest strengths of Baltimore’s secondary?

During his appearance on The Collective podcast, Hawkins praised Hamilton’s game while also discussing the importance of building chemistry during OTAs.

“Yeah, for sure. I mean, you know, we connecting right now and like I said, OTA is a time for that. You know, as these weeks go on, you learn more and more about your teammates and learn more and more about each other. So, which builds the chemistry and um that’s bigger than anything. And just from seeing him play… the dude makes plays everywhere, you know, and I like his game a lot. I respect his game a lot. Very versatile. Does it all just… with that energy, that swag. Um, yeah, he’s a great player.”

For Hawkins, building chemistry during OTAs is already paying dividends, especially alongside players like Kyle Hamilton and Malaki Starks. Hawkins' comments reflect the respect Hamilton commands across the league for his versatility, energy, and ability to impact games from multiple positions. If Baltimore's secondary develops the type of cohesion Hawkins described, the Ravens could once again field one of the NFL’s most dangerous defensive back groups in 2026.
