The growing legend status of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes expands beyond the fans in attendance at games. A breakout former Offensive Rookie of the Year is one of the many current players praising the two-time league MVP.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is one of the four players starring in the hit Netflix show 'Quarterback' season three. In a clip from the docuseries, Daniels shares his enjoyment of watching Mahomes in action.
"Man, I wish I was playing anything. I was trying to. I was trying to take this off the list," said Daniels on the sidelines, unable to play in last season's matchup in Kansas City. "I appreciate this great QB play. It's art. He's good. No, glaze like Patrick Mahomes is good at football."
Quarterback's third season premiered on July 14th, giving viewers exclusive, unprecedented access to four quarterbacks across the 2025 NFL season. This season's cast alongside Daniels includes Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans, and Joe Flacco of the Cincinnati Bengals.
At the 47th Annual Sports Emmy Awards, Mahomes, alongside Netflix, NFL Films, and Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions, won an award for 'Quarterback' Season 2. The Outstanding Sports Documentary Series: Serialized category is the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' top honor for serialized sports programming.
