Jason Day is preparing for the Masters in style.
Out on the course at Augusta National to practice on Monday, Day's outfit was incredible. He had birds all over his sweater vest.
Turns out, it could've been even bolder.
Jason Day's Masters bird outfit
This is how Day looked out on the course on Monday:
"Jason Day is out on the course today in a vest covered in bird prints, a subtle (or not so subtle) nod to Georgia, featuring native birds tied to the home of the Masters," wrote USA Today's Lauren Beasley on X.
Day actually wanted more birds on his fit, though.
What did Augusta National deny in Jason Day's outfit?
He wanted bird pants, too.
"Day had planned to go full send with matching pants, but Augusta National shut that down before it ever saw daylight," Beasley wrote on X.
Why?
Augusta National is full of tradition and high standards.
In this case, the club evidently didn't feel that bird pants would be suitable for its grounds.
It's too bad, because Day would've been quite the sight to behold.
