Just like that, the Oklahoma City Thunder are back at full health. Right on time, too. Jalen Williams is no longer listed on their injury report, which means he'll be available for Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs in the 2026 Western Conference Finals.

None of this should be a shocker. Williams revealed in his YouTube vlog that he could've played sooner. But OKC's two straight series sweeps to start the 2026 NBA playoffs gave them some wiggle room for his eventual return. The Thunder went 8-0 over the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers in the first two rounds.

An injury-plagued season has unfortunately carried over to the NBA playoffs. Williams sustained a third hamstring strain in five months during OKC's Game 2 win over the Suns on Apr. 22. He missed their next six playoff games. He was limited to 33 regular-season games this past year due to two wrist surgeries and two hamstring strains.

The Thunder will need Williams to play like his All-NBA self from here on out. They've managed to win without him, but if they hope to win back-to-back Larry O'Brien trophies, he'll need to be OKC's second-best player behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Right now, we're at the sprint part of the NBA's marathon. Now or never to leave your mark this year.
