Ignited by a 32-point performance from junior Emalie Jacoby, the Loggers went into Clallam County and defeated the Roughriders 74-52 on Monday night. It's the third win in four games for Onalaska since a 1-2 start.
Jacoby buried five 3-pointers on the night while Renzy Marshall added 15 points on seven field goals. The Loggers (4-3) continually added to their lead each quarter until the fourth, going from a 10-point cushion after one to a 26-point margin after three.
Onalaska has two more non-league games before the new year, battling a pair of P2BL teams in Forks on Tuesday and Raymond/South Bend on Saturday.
"We still have things to improve upon, but that's the exciting part," Loggers head coach Alana Olson said. "These girls are starting to feed off of each other's energy, and it really is fun to watch."
