The Jacksonville Jaguars extended an offer sheet to Seattle Seahawks restricted free agent receiver Jake Bobo on Friday. Bobo has signed the offer and will join the Jaguars if the Seahawks opt not to match the offer.
The terms of that pending agreement were revealed later that night via Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer. According to Breer, the Jaguars signed Bobo to a two-year, $5.5 million offer sheet. The deal would include $4.5 million fully guaranteed and a $1.75 million signing bonus.
The deal gives Bobo a paragraph five salary of $1.25 million in 2026 and $2 million in 2027. He will also earn a $50,000 workout bonus and $200,000 in per-game roster bonuses each year.
The deal also includes $1.5 million in incentives. The incentives are split in half $750,000 each contracted season with the same triggers.
REPORT: Jaguars sign Seahawks WR Jake Bobo to offer sheet: What it means
Here is the breakdown via Breer:
Jacksonville's offer sheet is the first the franchise has handed out to a player since they extended a five-year offer sheet to then-Cleveland Browns center Alex Mack who had the transition tag placed on him.
The Browns ultimately matched the deal within the five-day deadline.
The Jaguars will hope this offer sheet goes a bit better with Bobo able to help the team adjust, potentially marking an official end to receiver Tim Patrick's prospects of returning to Jacksonville.
Jacksonville already allowed one free agent, receiver Dyami Brown, to sign elsewhere. They've stayed relatively quiet in free agency this offseason, signing just one external free agent besides Bobo.
The team landed former Washington Commanders running back Chris RodriguezJr. early in free agency but have not signed anyone else.
Both of Jacksonville's signees were restricted free agents heading into the new league year. Washington did not extend a tender to Rodriguez, while the Seahawks tendered Bobo with a right-of-first-refusal offer.
A right-of-first-refusal tender allows the Seahawks to match Jacksonville's offer to Bobo exactly as the contract is written within five days (March 25). Otherwise, Bobo will find a new home in Jacksonville.
Bobo's deal with the Jaguars will not impact the team's compensatory pick formula for the 2027 NFL Draft.
