I'm worried this isn't a joke.

Dillon has said many times he was his favorite teammate, and they may think he fits better than Jalen with Book.

suns are playing today - scoop is playing click bait with the algorithm - never ever going to happen - he makes $43 million a year the next 2 years

we aren't looking to go over the cap again we're on ozempic

I would have much preferred taking a chance on Ja Morant than Kevin Durant. A change of environment might do him good.

He is a tremendous talent plus he is young.

All it would take is Jalen Green and Royce to do the deal - doesn't change our cap situation at all.

Umm - he can't shoot. His productivity has dropped off a cliff and he couldn't stay healthy all year. Not to mention the obvious off court concerns.

KD has issues, but it is kind of ridiculous to act like Morant is better.

Hard pass. What happened to 'alignment' on defense first hard nosed dirt workers? This is the polar opposite.

We agree 100% on the part in bold.

Btw, on Morant. It's best to acquire talent when their stock is down.

I know it's a risk, but if the Suns don't give up too much in trade, I'm not adverse to a buy low sell high philosophy.

Ja may have more natural talent than Jalen Green does but Jalen is so much more likable. It would end up being the KD for Twins 2.0 and I don't think anyone wants to relive that.

If we could somehow get Ja for Grayson and scraps like Mark Williams, cool, but that won't happen.

Given what the front office as said they are about, I cannot imagine a worse fit.

He's a awful defender, he's a headache, he's more selfish offensively that anyone on our roster (and that is a high bar).

Aside from all that, he is perpetually injured. I reeeeeeeally hope this team learned not to roll the dice on "stars" who can't stay on the court, especially someone like Ja, who entirely relies on his athletic talent to have any impact.

i can't imagine a better fit for a trade. unloading Booker ball and his diminished value for Morant ball and his diminished value would be an appropriate swap. If the best we can get out of Booker on his supermax salary is for him to play Point Book, why not replace him with a real point guard who can be legitimately unstoppable in the clutch?

*we'd have a balanced starting unit with Green replacing Booker's offense, and Morant patching our worst deficiency -- ball handling and clutch scoring in crunch time

*we could go with Morant, Green, Brooks and 2 defensive big men, swapping in Gillespi and Allen for Morant and Green when we need a more cohesive defensive unit.

*the 25 million savings in salary helps us better fill our role players for a championship run

*i'm not a fan of Morant's attitude -- but i wasn't a fan of the pre-Suns reputation of Barkley, Kidd, Allen, or Brooks either.

i keep wondering why the rumors would start and not be fully squashed by the suns org

i keep wondering why the suns would want him - if they did it would be because he's a true pg - we're talking 8 dimes a game - that's crazy

today i thought about the pay and how it absolutely wouldn't work - ja is making 42 next season and 45 the year after that - that won't work for phx at all

unless we bradley beal ja morant

stay with me - im high but khaman - that's when i do some of my best thinking

this personal scenario of mine has memphis and ja morant agreeing on a buy out - then we'd get the super talented physically gifted 8 dime dealing gun toating headcase for hella cheap

the clippers signed bradley beal to a 2 year 11 million contract- even the phoenix suns could swing something like that WITHOUT SACRIFICING ANYONE WE NEED

holy ish these brownies are strong - i tried to tell you

again- disclaimer- morant sucks at defense and at 3 pointers and he could get suspended again before next season even starts on some stupid self inflicted ignorant ish

or maybe he'd take a gig in phx seriously - knowing book is top dog and that he wouldn't want to let brooks down

idk man
