UFC Freedom 250 may not be the last event that TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (TKO) looks to host on the White House South Lawn

TKO, which owns both Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) all under the same roof, just saw UFC Freedom 250 play out live on Paramount+ from the actual White House in Washington D.C. The event may not have produced Super Bowl numbers, but UFC’s White House card still drew 17 million viewers to Paramount+, which is a platform record for a live event.

It now appears another TKO holding is looking to test the waters on the White House lawn.

According to a report by Wrestle Votes(via Yahoo Sports), WWE is now discussing the idea of hosting a wrestling event at the White House. There’s very little information at this time, but the report suggests WWE officials were overly impressed with UFC’s Freedom 250 event and are serious about doing the same.

It’s unknown at this time what WWE would have to do to stage an event on the White House lawn, but they already have an in with President Donald Trump. Much like Trump’s past history with Dana White and UFC, POTUS has worked with WWE in the past. This includes Trump’s infamous “Loser shaves his head” match against former WWE CEO, Vince McMahon.

We’ll have to wait and see how serious this is, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see Trump welcome WWE with open arms. In fact, Trump already had plans to leave UFC’s “Claw” on the White House lawn for future use.
