From the iconic "Glory, Glory" fight song to the legendary Uga mascot, several University of Georgiafootball traditions are in the running for national recognition.

The University of Georgia is giving Bulldogs fans another reason to cheer this football season.

Four Georgia football gameday traditions have been nominated for the USA TODAY Sports Readers' Choice Awards, giving fans the opportunity to vote for some of the program's most recognizable traditions.

Here's what's on the ballot.

Which Georgia football traditions were nominated?​

According to the University of Georgia, the following traditions were selected as nominees:

• Sanford Stadium for Best College Football Stadium
• Uga for Best Mascot
• Athens for Best Tailgating Experience

The annual Readers' Choice Awards recognize standout sports experiences, venues and traditions across the country.

How to vote​

Voting is open now and will remain open through 11:59 a.m. ET on Aug. 17.

The top 10 winners in each category, as determined by readers' votes, will be announced on Aug. 26 at noon ET.

Georgia has earned recognition before​

The University of Georgia has previously received national recognition in the USA TODAY Sports Readers' Choice Awards.

In 2025, Georgia finished as the runner-up for Best College for Sports Fans, according to the university.

The USA TODAY Sports Readers' Choice Awards are designed to highlight memorable sports experiences, destinations, events and products based on reader voting.
