Ricky Pearsall has struggled to make it onto the field for the San Francisco 49ers all season (he played nine games), and he didn't play last week in the Niners' playoff win over the Eagles.
He's listed as questionable with a knee injury, but will he play against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday in the NFL Divisional playoff matchup?
We don't know yet, but here's what he said after practicing this week, via Niners Wire: "I'm pretty confident. I've been through every practice this week. I mean, yeah, you guys saw me practicing last week, but if you really saw me practicing, I couldn't really lift up my leg very well. I was trying to get back, but this week gave me a little bit more optimism that I'm going to be playing this week. I'm getting more confident."
