New England Patriots rookie Eli Raridon will be a tight end to consider in dynasty fantasy football drafts this year.

Raridon is poised to receive snaps as the backup tight end for the Patriots next season. He steps into a role that Austin Hooper occupied last season and played well in, having went for 263 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a crowded receiving game.

Hunter Henry is the top tight end for New England and is among five receivers that will demand a large target share, including A.J. Brown, Romeo Doubs, Mack Hollins and Kayshon Boutte (if he’s not traded). Not only that, but Raridon will also take a backseat to DeMario Douglas and perhaps Kyle Williams in the passing attack next season.

The likelihood that Raridon exceeds Hooper’s output from last season in 2026 is low, to say the least. The 22-year-old will be a player to stash in dynasty leagues for years to come, as opposed to his rookie season.

The future may brighten up for Raridon sooner rather than later. Henry is approaching his age-32 season in the league in 2026, despite having a career year in 2025. Becoming a dependable target for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye when called upon from the onset of his career will develop chemistry between the two and position Raridon to step in for Henry in a few years.

His fluidity and pass-catching ability at the position suggest that he is capable of turning into a nice tight end option for team managers in the future.
