The Los Angeles Lakers face elimination in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. They have had several problems in this series, including a lack of size on their frontline.

Jaxson Hayes, their starting center who has barely played in this series, is their only rotational player who is taller than 6-foot-9, and LeBron James is their only other rotational player who is over 6-foot-8.

Weeks ago, there was some hope that 6-foot-10 Maxi Kleber, who was included in the Luka Doncic trade, would be able to return from foot surgery by the end of the regular season. While that didn't happen, head coach JJ Redick said he will be available to play in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Kleber, 33, has long been known as a dependable 3-pointer shooter and defender, and he can play both the 4 and 5 positions. He suffered a foot injury on Jan. 25 as a member of the Dallas Mavericks and hasn't appeared in a game since.
