After four games, the Western Conference finals series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs is all tied up at two games apiece.
The Spurs won the first game, but then the Thunder won two straight before the Spurs bounced back to tie things up. Now, the series shifts back to Oklahoma City for Game 5 on Tuesday night.
Ajay Mitchell ruled out for Game 5 vs. Spurs due to right soleus strain
Unfortunately for the Thunder, they will continue to be without a key contributor for the critical contest.
After missing the fourth game of the series, Thunder reserve guard Ajay Mitchell has again been officially ruled out of Game 5 due to a right soleus strain. His status for the rest of the series beyond Tuesday night remains unknown at this point.
In 11 playoff games this year, Mitchell has averaged 15.1 points, 4.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per performance.
The Thunder will miss Mitchell out on the court, especially if star guard Jalen Williams is unable to play. Williams has missed the last two games of the series due to a left hamstring injury. He's considered "questionable" for Game 5.
