The New York Yankees got off to a great start to the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.

In the top of the first inning, Cody Bellinger delivered a two-run single.

Up next? Ben Rice, RBI single.

They had to hold the mantle for the Bronx Bombers, because Aaron Judge can't do it right now.

Is Aaron Judge playing in the All-Star Game?​


No, Judge isn't a part of this year's All-Star proceedings.

He's been out for a large chunk of the first half of the season.

Why isn't Aaron Judge playing?​


Judge is injured.

He has a fracture in his ribs that has kept him out since late May.

The Yankees are doing more imaging to figure out when he may be able to return, but as of now, he's still not back on the field.
