Iowa women's basketball among four finalists for Destiny Manyawu

Iowa women's basketball is one of the four finalists for 2027 blue-chip forward Destiny Manyawu.

Manyawu will decide between Iowa, Michigan, Duke and Oklahoma, per On3's Talia Goodman. Manyawu will visit Oklahoma on Aug. 6, Michigan on Sept. 12, Duke on Sept. 25 and Iowa on Oct. 10.

A 6-foot-3 power forward, Manyawu is ranked as the nation's No. 25 player, as the No. 7 power forward and as the top player in Missouri, per Rivals. According to 247Sports, Manyawu is the country's No. 36 player, the No. 9 power forward and the top player in Missouri. ESPN rates Manyawu as the No. 23 player nationally.

Manyawu is a consensus four-star prospect across Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN.

Manyawu stars for Staley High School and played for Nike EYBL squad All Iowa Attack. Manyawu is the younger sister of current Iowa men's basketball forward Cam Manyawu.
